FIFA's list of nominees for World Footballer of the year 2011
FIFA today announced the names of 23 football players in contention for the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2011 ( World Football Player of the Year).
Eight of Pep Guardiola’s players have made this year’s 23-man group. Leading the group is Lionel Messi who has been the winner of football’s top individual honour three times in a row.
